Gold Cura’s Air Pro is a versatile 2-in-1 dental tool. It serves as an Air Prophy and sand blasting equipment.

Air Pro operates by spraying sand powder particles through a high-pressure airflow (18 m/s). This process roughens or cleans the surface area, carrying water to effectively inhibit dust spatter.

Compact, light, and easy to grip, Air Pro features a built-in water supply pipe and deep embedded tungsten steel nozzles. For extra oral applications, it uses Aluminum Oxide Powder. This cleans or uniformly roughens the surface at a micro level, enhancing adhesive strength before bonding various dental components.

During the sand blasting mode, adjust the standard pressure of the dental unit to 3.5-5.5 kgf/cm. We recommend using aluminum oxide powder with a purity of 30-90 µm.

Intraorally, Air Pro can be used with sodium bicarbonate micro powder. This is especially useful for micro roughening of porcelain or resin restorations when porcelain or resin crowns or bridges are chipped.

Air Pro is beneficial for various clinical applications. It removes stains, plaque, tobacco stains, and biofilms, reducing the risk of dental caries. It also polishes the teeth surface post ultrasonic cleaning.

We recommend using sodium bicarbonate micro powder with 45-90 µm. Adjust the standard pressure of the dental unit to 2.5-4.5 kgf/cm during its use.

The metal part of Air Pro can be sterilized at 134 degrees Celsius. Other parts, such as the powder bottle, O-Ring, and related gaskets, should be wiped with alcohol disinfectant.
